Dreck Metal is a one man operation born in the Ozarks and transplanted to Louisville Kentucky. My main interest is in culinary knives because I realized that the knives I was making were largely self serving “art” pieces and making culinary knives is more of a communal activity. I get much more joy out of the idea that a kitchen knife is used as something that people use and gather around for dinners and parties while helping to provide sustenance and nourishment.
In short, get together, eat, drink, laugh, have a good time, just make sure you dry off the knife because it’s carbon steel and it will rust.
