This piece marks my first attempt at fitting up bolsters in a way other than dove-tailing. Although a simple design, getting the scales and bolsters to fit up was no simple task, but I love the outcome. Like many of my favorite pieces, this one has a “Montana Gentleman” feel to it. Like something a cowboy would wear on him as an accessory on a fancy night out.
